An interesting little book, I had no idea about it or the author prior to reading it. It is a very Godly book and Christian with lots of messages about God and God’s will. Somewhat dated for today’s World I think. It does read more of a child’s book but I cant see today’s children getting through it.
A magical book, very fantastical but dark too. A timeless classic and a bit to different to what one would expect but typical of a Germanic fairy tale like a Grimms fairy tale. I last read this about 3 years ago, so its something I am not reading for the first time. I have never seen the ballet but I would like to one day.
A great selection of Dylan Thomas’ writing and includes several stories. I did buy this purely for the title story ‘A Child’s Christmas In Wales’. Initially I was disappointed to find this wasn’t a festive collection but part of a general collection of stories. The title one being the only one relating to Christmas. But is a great collection too, some very enjoyable stories in this book.
A fun and interesting read on the English languages with many facets covered in short page long paragraphs to be like the radio show and its format.
At times entertaining and at others a bit boring and longwinded it felt.
